Recruitment

The steps of our recruitment process include:

We are committed to recruiting the right people to your business. Every business knows that recruiting and retaining quality people is one of the most fundamental aspects to its long term success and profitability.

Our extensive experience in recruitment cuts across a diverse range of clients and industries, from Manufacturing, Operations, Government, FMCG, Sales, Marketing and Human Resources to name a few.

  1. Understanding the role: We work with you to write the Position Description so that its captures exactly what is needed in the role. This stage is critical to get right and can't be skipped. We will provide you with guidance on salary benchmarking and job analysis.
  2. Advertising: We use a range of strategies to source potential candidates including; SEEK, email distributions to existing staff, your networks and LinkedIn. We will explore every avenue to find the best person and leave no stone uncovered to find the right person for your business.
  3. Screening: We lead the interview process on your behalf, which includes developing the questions, conducting the interviews and managing the whole process. The interviews are based on behavioural event interviewing techniques which ensure the questioning process is able to uncover the candidates true skills and attitude based on past behaviour in a similar role. Our philosophy is to recruit for the right attitude first and skills second as certain aspects of human behaviour are difficult to change once in the role. We use the principle of 'the best indicator of future behaviour is past behaviour'.
  4. Shortlisting: This involves conducting reference and background checks on candidates. Which typically includes a minimum of two reference checks with the best ones being those which are most recent and similar to role being filled. At the final stage of the process, short listed candidates will be asked to complete a comprehensive psychometric test, via Profiles XT in order for them to progress to the next stage.
  5. On boarding: You have the option for us to write the employment contract for you which includes a clear probationary process. Many clients prefer this service as it allows everything to be documented and clear while the negotiations are taking place. We assist you with developing a detailed training and induction plan over the first 90 days in the role.
  6. On-going Support: As we aim to create long term relationships with our clients, we check in with you once the person is in the role and provide support if required. This is part of the service and ensure a smooth transition and a sustainable and mutually beneficially relationship is established.
