Stephen Luxmoore
Founder & CEO
Stephen is an industry leader with over twenty years of senior HR specialist experience and is passionate about helping people and organisations to be the best version of themselves possible.
He consults widely with private businesses and the government sector on matters relating to human resources, people development, recruitment, culture and continuous improvement. As an experienced HR Consultant, he has delivered successful HR improvements in both the private and public sectors including Austral Clothes Hoists, Todd Devine Homes, Black Swan Dips, Deloitte, Movement and Place Consulting and the City of Greater Dandenong to name a few.
Stephen is across the latest developments in HR, human behaviour, culture, psychology and how they intersect in the modern workplace to create productive, profitable and happy workplaces. He is able to balance the ‘strategic’ aspects of HR with the ‘doing’ and is highly skilled at helping organisations to create and refine HR best practice systems and practices.
Stephen holds an MBA from Swinburne University, Diploma of HR from Chisholm, Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Cert IV in Continuous Improvement and is an accredited practitioner for the Human Synergistics coaching and development tool.
He has held senior leadership HR roles in large, medium and small organisations and is able to offer practical, commercial and common-sense solutions when navigating complex HR situations and provides coaching, training and advisory services.
Stephen spends his spare time with his growing family, looking after his indigenous garden and supporting not for profits including the Cornerstone Contact Centre and Good Cycles.
Laura Quinlan
HR Consultant
With over seven years of experience in Human Resources, Laura has worked with a large variety of clients from a range of industries, from construction, manufacturing to retail and hospitality. Laura has completed a Bachelor of Psychology majoring in Human Recourses and has completed a number of third party training courses that include but are not limited to; Workplace Investigations, Employment Law and Managing Unfair Dismissal Claims.
Laura thrives when she is working in the compliance space of HR to ensure our clients are meeting Fair Work minimums. Laura’s specialties include recruitment, policy and procedure development, Award and Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Audits, performance management, disciplinary processes and HR training.
Outside of work, you will most likely find Laura at the beach, snowboarding or trying out new recipes for her family at home.
Celine Pirotte
HR Consultant
Celine has a high customer service background, consistently attending to her clients and their best wishes. With her previous experience and determination throughout the years, she has gained many transferable skills and traits in which she now brings to her position with Your HR Team. She is a bubbly, creative, and an approachable team player who loves a challenge.
With 3 years’ experience in the HR field, Celine thrives in leadership development, facilitating training sessions, performance management & development, and fine tooth combing any interpersonal HR concerns with the most respectful and supportive approach and her client’s wellbeing as her priority.
Celine has completed a Diploma of Human Resource Management, as well as Mental Health First Aid Australia training. Celine has experience in providing HR Consulting to clients across many industries inclusive of hospitality, retail, construction, and not-for-profit.
Celine has determination to continue to thrive and climb as high as she can, in this fulfilling industry.
In her spare time, she loves to be out in nature, at the beach, creating art, playing piano and saxophone, and spending time with her family and friends.
Beth Buljina
HR Support
Beth joins us with a strong customer service background, who is always meeting client needs and ensures all parties are satisfied with the processes and the end result. With years of experience fulfilling touchpoints on the customer journey and many skills gained throughout, Beth is now a supportive, dedicated and attentive individual who strives for continuous development.
To creative think and problem solve is Beth’s passion. To ensure a smooth and compliant journey with effective communication is her intention.
Beth has successfully graduated with a Bachelor in Business majoring in Human Resource Management from Monash University and has also completed a Dual Diploma in Business and Human Resource Management.
In her spare time, you will find Beth exploring new scenery, spending quality time with her friends and family, and relaxing her mind by doing puzzles, reading poetry and painting.
Lyn Marshall
HR Consultant
Lyn has a career spanning over 30 years in Human Resources Management in companies that are fast paced and have constantly changing landscapes. Working in senior HR roles for a diverse range of B2B & B2C industries, this has provided a massive wealth of experience across the full range of the HR services including talent management, mergers & acquisitions, compensation & benefits and creating winning cultures. In addition, Lyn operates her own HR consulting business providing services to a range of clients including Your HR Team.
Lyn has a Post Graduate degree in Business Management and accreditation in several HR tools.
In her spare time, she co-ordinates the activities of a HR Networking Group of about 73 HR members that meet regularly to share ideas and knowledge as part of their professional development. Lyn also volunteers as a Social Support Group Activities Assistant at a Community centre assisting older and/or disabled individual’s ability to live at home and in the community with a planned program of structured social activities.
Sarah Welti
HR Consultant
Sarah Welti is a HR professional with 15 years experience in the HR field. Her previous roles have included Executive HR positions covering Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, Employment and Industrial Relations, Payroll, Learning and Development, HR system and projects. Having this experience allows Sarah to manage significant and complex HR situations, numerous relationships, and deliver outcomes.
Sarah loves being able to help organisations gain commercial success through its people and focus on meaningful HR activities that add value. Her understanding of bringing individuals together to achieve shared business objectives, coupled with her ability to navigate intricate organisational and human capital needs, equips her to deliver people goals.
Sarah holds a post graduate certificate in Human Resources Management, Certificate IV in OH&S and Accreditation in Prince2 Project Management methodology.
In her spare time you’ll find her being entertained by her 2 dogs and husband, going to the gym and yoga, or enjoying a vino and cheese platter with friends and family.
Olivia Rizzo
Junior HR Consultant
Olivia is a vibrant individual with over 2 years of experience in HR management. Holding a double degree in Psychology & Music from Monash University, Olivia's career has always been driven by a love for working with people. Rising quickly through the ranks in the mental health sector, she autonomously managed multiple locations in Melbourne and oversaw a large and growing team, cultivating workplace culture whilst navigating high-pressure environments. Eager to further develop her professional skills, Olivia is pursuing a Masters in Human Resources Management at RMIT University alongside her work.
Outside of work, Olivia is a singer and pianist. She loves music, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Karyn Mackew
HR Consultant
Karyn has more than 25 years experience working in HR for private, government and not for profit organisations. Her experience includes working with World Vision Australia, Cleanaway, City of Whitehorse, City of Greater Dandenong, Accenture, Allens Linklaters, Dun & Bradstreet and RACV.
Her roles have been both hands on and strategic giving her a good understanding of how and why HR adds value to a business. She has held HR leadership roles directly managing teams and her experience includes Employee and Industrial Relations, Performance & Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Enterprise Agreement negotiations, Learning and Development, Strategic Planning, HR & Payroll systems implementation. Karyn recognises that organisations achieve their goals when employee engagement is optimised and she has a passion for fostering respectful and accountable workplace cultures.
Karyn holds a Bachelor of Business (HR), a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Project Management, Mental Health First Aid (2022) and is a certified coach in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Karyn is a Chartered Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and volunteers on a Committee of Management for a rural disability services provider.
Karyn and her partner have a small farm located near Yarck in regional Victoria which keeps them busy most weekends with family and friends visiting, gardening, lots of mowing in Spring and a small number of cattle (just don’t ask her how many broken water pipes she’s attempted to fix!).
